IKEA HACKING WITH PALLETS: EXPEDIT

Here’s my latest work, the base is (again) a sad white ikea’s expedit cabinet hacked with pallets. I’ve suspended it, drilled in different points to hide wires and with added a colored IKEA’s led stripe to get an even cooler look!
Due to its irregular surface to keep it clean I’ve topped it with a 6 mm thick pvc cover sheet laser cut that works just fine for what I had in my mind, it shows perfectly what’s below it and add value to its shades.
I’ve had so much fun with this project beside the boring part of dismantling and cleaning the pallets from which it’s made of icon wink Ikea Hacking with pallets: Expedit in pallet living room with pallet IKEA Hacking Expedit

Ideal solution of organizing different things

At a certain point, each of us has the problem of not finding a certain thing exactly when we need it, no matter what that object is. Usually it happens because we are always on the run, very busy or because we do not organize our things as we should. DYI found a solution for these problems: simple and at ease: the wooden drawers that will organize your space better than you would have thought and in a short time. Why are these drawers so special? They are actually made of 3 wooden boxes, 4 pieces of wood, screwdriver, a ruler and a pencil. It depends only on you where you need them, in your garage, in your home office or in the kitchen.
There is nothing complicated about the drawers and if you follow the right steps and really want to organize your space, you can make the drawers on your own. DIY drawers follow the idea of simplicity and as long as you want to save yourself from the trouble of not finding things when you need them, maybe you should adopt this solution.
The fact that they are appropriate for so many rooms, make them even more attractive; what is certain is that you will defintely find what you need easier as you will know exactly in which drawer it is.{found on design-remont}.

DIY simple side table

It’s always fun to find creative projects that you can do by yourself. Small decorative items are usually what we create but there are also other things we can come up with, for example something practical and useful like a side table. And that’s a really simply project because it doesn’t require much time or effort.
Here’s what you’re going to need to make a side table just like the one in the pictures. You’ll need a hammer, a cross-cut hand saw, an engineered square or 90-degree triangle, a sanding block, a pencil, lumber ((3) 1” x 6” x 6’, (1) 1” x 4” x 6’, (1) 1” x 3” x 6’, (1) 1” x 2” x 6’) and a box of #16 x 1 1/4″ wire nails.
First begin by building the frame. Cut the lumber to the dimensions you want, in this case angle tool (engineered square or 90-degree triangle) and lightly sand the edges.
(6) — 1” x 2” x 11” corner supports (for lateral support, (4) — 1” x 6” x 18” top and bottom panel, (4) — 1” x 6″ x 20” side panel. Then assemble the side panels using nails directly into the center of the 1 x 2s. Next add the drawer into the space between the first and second plank. Now assemble the top and bottom panels and you’ll have a complete frame.
Assemble the drawer by cutting lumber to the following dimensions: (2) — 1” x 6“ x 15” front and back planks, (2) — 1” x 4” x 9.5” side planks (one on each side), (2) — 1” x 3” x 11” outermost side planks, (2) — 1” x 4” x 15” bottom end planks, (1) — 1” x 3” x 15” bottom middle plank. Slide the drawer into the frame and the table is done. You can also paint the table if you wish.{found on designsponge}
